Today is Pioneer Day! Pioneer Day is a state holiday in Utah in the United States. It is celebrated on July 24 each year to commemorate the entry of Brigham Young and the first group of Mormon pioneers into Utah’s Salt Lake Valley in 1847. This day celebrates the bravery of the original settlers and their strength of character and physical endurance.

Today’s Challenge: Live like a pioneer!

Make food from scratch, try not to use technology as much. Go outside and have fun! Basically, rough it out like a pioneer! :D

    Well, I made food from scratch. But I definitely didn't avoid technology. I'll be dancing like a pioneer tonight (but it'll be to recorded music) .

    I walked for my exercise and we cooked at home today. That is as close as I am going to come to the whole pioneer thing.
