I've been weighing myself once a week at my gym, but I been wanting to buy a scale of my own to have at home. The only thing is the last time I bought a scale (a couple years ago, from wal-mart) it didn't read my weight. Does anyone know where to buy a scale or a particular brand that can go up to 400lbs at least? According to the scale at my gym I weigh 388lbs. Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated :)

This is the one I got last year: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Taylor-Model-7506-Glass-Electronic-Bath-Scale/14311191

It goes up to 400lbs and I needed that because I wasn't sure where I would be starting (355 btw). Sometimes you need to weigh yourself twice --as in let it reset and get back on--but it's helped a lot. My nutritionist's scale has me about 5 lbs less usually but I'm fine with that.

ETA: I didn't choose this one out of the blue. I enjoy watching Meal Prep videos on YouTube and a lot of the women that are 300+ lbs seemed to use it/recommend it so I thought, why not?

I got mine at Target. Goes up to 400lbs and it was $20. I just went to there scale section and checked out which ones went up the highest. They even had one that went up to 450.

Edited to add: After clicking on the link in the comment above I have that same scale.

Thanks so much, I did go to purchase the scale y'all recommended, and it works great. Even the cashier at Walmart told me it was a good scale. I really appreciate the help y'all!!
