Hi everyone!

My name is Becky, and I am a Senior in college. I am currently 197 pounds and I have struggled with my weight my entire life. I am so excited for this challenge. I am hoping to lose 10 pounds in the month of August (I am shooting high because I tend to lose weight fast in the first few weeks)...

There will be a new monthly challenge every month. A spreadsheet will be up soon for you to pick a team and enter your starting weight. There will be weekly results posted with the top players/teams.

Tell me about you! Why did you decide to join challenge? How much weight are you looking to lose for this month?

    Hi! :) My name is Stephanie, I'm a junior in college. I decided to join this challenge because I feel that it will help me stay motivated. It seems like a fun way to loose weight! I currently weigh 187 lbs and my goal for the month is to loose a minimum of 8 lbs. my main goal is to loose about 40 lbs. I've also struggled with my weight my whole life, my weight always fluctuates. It's time for me to try my hardest and not give up!

    Hi, I'm Heather. I've done Becky's challenges in the past and they have always help keep me accountable. I total fell off the wagon. I weighed my self this morning and it was 157....I was down to almost 130 6 months ago. I work full time and am married with a 14 year old son. I love to run, but have been slacking with that also. I am hoping this challenge will get be back on track!

    Current wt- 220Lbs. Aiming to lose 10Lbs in coming month.

    Hello,
    I am a 48 year old mother of two with my 2nd heading to college this fall. I feel it is now time for me to work on myself and my goals. I have been gaining consistently for the past 2 years. I exercise but my eating and love of wine is what gets me in trouble. I have recently been at 155 and thought it couldn't get any higher but two days ago the scale said 160 and really scared me. I think this group and the challenges are exactly what I need to stay motivated and accountable.

    Hi my name is Faye and I am 32 (almost)! My current weight is 88.9kg which is around 196lbs

    I would like to get into the 180s by the end of the challenge!

    Hi everyone- my name is Trisha. I did one of Rebecca's challenges before and it was awesome, though I didn't reach all my goals. I've been losing weigh the past two months- down 10 pounds so far- and reached the point where I usually stop losing and start getting comfortable. So I want some extra accountability to break through this barrier. I would like to lose 5 pounds in August.

    Hi I am Jo, and this is the first being apart of this group. I have been struggling for a long time with losing my last 10 to 15 lbs, I workout regularly, but it is the eating and as well as hypothyroid. I have been horrible with keeping track of my food so hoping this group can get me back on track and more accountable.

    hi I'm Amanda, I am graduating JC this october. So I want to start uni fit and in shape. My goal for August is to hit 154lbs, currently at 165lbs (somewhere there). Other than that, my fitness goal for this month is to do the C25K and also attempt a split (any kind!)

    Hi, I am Jean. I am always up for a challenge and am looking for some new motivation and friends on MFP (so feel free to add me). My best friends wedding is at the end of August and I would love to shed a few more pounds before then.

    My goal is 192 lbs
    Current weight: 202.2

    Hi Y'all. I'm Terri. 49 and new to MFP. Was a sparkpeople user before that. Was close to goal weight a few years ago and have put it back on. I think a lot of hormone issues but really focused again and hoping that a new environment and new friends will push me in the right direction. Currently I crossfit 3 times a week, walk and do yogo. I am 170 and would love to lose at least 5 pounds each month. Nice to meet you all!
