3 out of 4 dogs love bacon, 1 knows there's a pill hidden in it. >:)

    I put the dog pills in cheese.

    Cheese does not work with my dogs. If I pack the cheese around the pill, it takes forever for the cheese to process and the pill to actually get digested/work--probably ok for a daily pill or something, but we usually only give dramamine for travelling, and you really don't want to be guessing as to whether or not that has been digested yet. Yuck.

    If I don't pack the cheese tightly, they just eat the cheese and spit the pill back out. So sneaky! I find lunch meat works nicely, though...

    Awww..I was hoping to see some pics of puppies. I love all pooches and kitties.. Here's Bailey. She's a 2 year old mixed breed. A sweetheart who loves bacon, cheese, basically anything I'm eating. She loves to run and gives me a reason to get outside and walk.

    For the curious, in order of appearance: Jayde (mini gsd/husky cross), up-up (pekingese), jayde again, blondie (peke), jules (pit mix), uppy again, and lily (gsd)

    I have 2 dogs fed on raw food Natural Instinct (UK ), their 'cousin' has come to stay while son and family have a holiday and she has bought a tub of kibble with her and it can go back same quantity cos under my roof she gets lchf and can have coconut oil too! Don't tell them...

    As for bacon and pork in general, be careful, fat puts stress on dog pancreas and can cause problems. I don't give it to my dogs.

    Thanks to everyone for this thread. I love dogs but the last one I had ran away 17 years ago right before I had to move out-of-state and I was too broken-hearted to have another. I found out about 8 years ago that a neighbor found him and took him in and he had a wonderful life.
