Hello All,
I trained hard for my Taekwondo black belt exam and was lifting, when I injured my shoulder. I stopped for a while. I passed my exam but lost my motivation to lift. Well after a couple of months I am back lifting again and I have started from the lowest weight and plan to build my strength up again. I am still training in Taekwondo and am cycling more but the lifting, no matter how small the weight makes me feel like Wonder Woman. I look forward to sharing info with my fellow lady lifters again!

congrats on the black belt !! that is awesome. I do muay thai, I really enjoy it. Not to fight but just the training.
I was doing 5x5 a while ago but stopped as I hurt my knee. Had to do a lot of glute strengthening, work on tight quads as well. Just started yesterday and feels good to be back doing it !0 -
Nice one Izzy. I am doing 5x5 but starting from the beginning and it feels great. I must watch that shoulder though!0
