Odd question - for the ladies

Has anyone noticed their breasts getting lumper as they lose weight on LCHF? Had a rough year last year before starting this WOE & breast biopsies were part of it. Noticed several new lumps on weekend but Dr assured me that "lumpy" breasts were part of the weight loss. Am scheduled for follow up diagnostic mammograms/ultrasounds in October anyway so am just going to keep an eye on things til then. Was just curious to know if anybody else has noticed this.

Cant say I have...unless you count extra lumps close to my waist where my breasts seem to be heading! Lol. Hope its as the Dr says.0

We need to invent system where we can re-inflate them, like tires. Lol.0

I have not noticed this but I have read that it is very common.0

OMG, I sure could use some re-inflating! I need to get fitted for bras, because after 3 pregnancies, 3 breastfed babies, and 44 pounds lost, mine are getting rather pancake-esque and I have no idea what size to buy anymore. Oh well, I'd rather be healthy and flat than fat and busty.0

I know that in the last month, for no apparent reason, mine are more tender all the time as my bras seem to not fit as well. I'm on the tightest setting in the back and almost fully doubled up on the straps (was less so when I started this WOE), but I can't figure out the soreness. The do feel lumpier, like someone didn't stir up the sauce properly, like random lumps but nothing static. Don't know if it is related or not. But I've always had slightly "fibrous" breasts - enough that i had a baseline mammogram done a few years ago for "if ever needed" comparisons... I guess I will keep an eye on this and see if another is warranted.0

I have noticed them being firmer toward the base but not lumpy and more itchy. I have always had looooots of breast tissue as opposed to fat in that area though.0

Mine are LESS lumpy. So is my tummy fat.0

Mine went some pretty weird shapes as I lost weight. Sort of lumpy. It seems to sort itself out periodically though.0

I recommend a bra fitting at Nordstrom for anyone that has the opportunity. You don't need to buy your bras there but the fitting will change your perspective for life. Dramatic? Yes, but true! It will help you understand the way your chesticle area is shaped whether weight is lost or gained. It is absolutely superior to Victoria's Secret or Soma.
As for mine, I think I've finally gotten to the weight loss point where I'm losing weight in that area. I am happy about this but of course they're getting worse and worse looking.0 -
I have "fibrous breast tissue" which is code for "really dense" so I don't know if they're more or less lumpy. When I get to my goal weight, I'm having a breast reduction. I'm done with DDDs, lumpy or not!0

I feel the fat loss has led to the ability to feel more anatomically normal things. Wherever that may be. In your breasts there are mammary glands and the ability to feel them is lumpy. IMO that's what you are dealing with now. Findng the new normal can be a bit of a challenge sometimes! Best to you!:-)0

Yes, I have a noticeable new lump that I have been a little concerned about...I am glad it is not just me.0

Mine have actually filled out more. And gotten itchy :-/ weird stuff.0

I was never very well endowed til I hit my 40's. Now I'm losing the weight & they're deflating. Not fair. Glad to hear that others are lumpy too, tho. Makes me less worried.0

No lumps, but they're turning into flat pancakes that hang down lower. This happened 10 years ago when I lost weight, no idea what they'll look like in 40-50 pounds when I complete my mission. Sigh.0
