Started running about a month before I started keto. I would run 30 seconds and have to walk for 3 minutes and of continue until I was completely exhausted at 30 minutes. The first month of keto was a tiny bit longer running stretches but would still crap out at kilometer 4 or so. Well TODAY, on day 110 of keto I ran intervals of 10 and 1. 10 minutes running and 1 minute walking for 1 hour 16 minutes!!!!! Oh....my.....goodness! So so so proud of myself and so glad I pushed through that first month and kept running . so those of you just and noticing your running stamina sucks, keep pushing! It'll all pay off.

Woohoo! So, do you have a 10km race planned for the fall?

That's awesome! Since I've been walking more for the August challenge, I tried running on my way back home. I was already on my street but I didn't expect to be able to go far. The last time I tried I was eating this way but wasn't walking as regularly.
This time I ran at least 4 times as far as when I tried months ago. Then while I was feeling so proud about it, I realized it was uphill and last time was downhill! It was probably only about 3 minutes, but that was serious improvement for me! Now I want to work on it more. I think I may try your method of run then walk.
