Tips for the newb?

I'm only 5 days in and haven't even tried testing yet but I feel really good with more motivation and finding it easier to make good decisions. In the past I've been able to stay in ketostis at 65% fat/10% carbs/25% protein. I am finding that most days I am having a very hard time sticking to that 10% and have been closer to 20 fairly often. At the moment it seems like i'd have to eat only greens or cruciferous veggies to stay under. Also many of my sources of fat tend to come with carbs (olives, avocados, canned coconut milk). I can only eat so many fat bombs and I can't do dairy (and its tomato and pepper season in NJ!) Any tips?

i save my carbs for my salad

lil fresh tomato from the garden & topped with some guac as dressing

Heavy cream in coffee/tea instead of 1/2 1/2

cook in butter or coconut oil

Oh, I totally forgot about my bulletproof coffee! Adds a bunch of fat in the am and takes out a few carbs too. That'll probably kick me up a notch.

20% carbs is still really good.

I like having oatmeal for breakfast so I have to stick to vegetables for the rest of the day to stay within my carb allowance.
