    Loss/gain for the week: - 4.4 lbs
    Loss/gain for the month: - 9.2 lbs

Struggles or successes of your week:

Success: I had a setback last week because I wasn't as careful with my meals and gained 2 pounds. This week I resisted temptation and went for the healthy options instead of the quick ones. On Wednesday I was out @ Target and was extremely hungry. I had missed my dinner and was facing an hour drive home. I was really tempted to grab a bag of chips or cookies from target to tide me over. Instead I headed for their produce section and got a bag of apple slices and some carrot juice for the drive. Now I've glad to be under 340 again. Small win for me!

Struggles: I have been struggling with incorporating exercise into my routine on a regular basis.

Week 1: Gained over the weekend but managed to get most of it back off. Drinking all my water and have successfully doubled my workout.
Week 2: Had to back off my workout.
Week 3: Not sure what is going on.
Week 4: Okay. My workout is still at 30 minutes but feels good so I'm sticking with that for a while. Guess my body was adjusting because I'm not doing anything different and have started losing again. Gotta stay positive.
Week 5: A little loss. At least it's going in the right direction.

Struggles or successes of your week:
My weigh in on Thursday was high, and my spreadsheet showed that I should have been showing more loss. I suspect that my body was holding onto water after quite a bit of exertion the previous few days. Reweighed this morning, and saw closer to what I was expecting.

Still pushing hard, but don't think I'll be able to hit 100 lbs. down by my birthday (Sep. 3).

Month to Date Exercise (Monthly Goal):
    Cycling - 0.0 miles (100 Miles)
    Jogging/Running - 26.3 miles (25 Miles)
    Hiking - 9.7 Miles & 1,350' elev. climb(0 Miles)
    Total - 36.0 miles (125 Miles)

Struggles or successes of your week: ongoing medical issues. Started a different treatment, called plasmapheresis. It's similar to dialysis, they remove the blood, spin it down, return the cells to me along with albumin. I don't have my home scale for daily weights, but I'm guessing there's some fluid shift. Two treatments so far, three to go. Some mild improvements in symptoms are giving me hope!

I've been stress eating, too. Not staying as low-carb as usual, and some days are well over calorie goal. Buckling down this weekend as best as I can being *way* outside my routine.

    Just keep floating, right?

I'd agree with the water weight, you'd have had to eat a very large amount of food to put on 2.6 lbs this week.

Floating's good, I hear stress is afraid of water; also "we'll float on, good news is on the way."

    Loss/gain for the week: - 2.8 lbs
    Loss/gain for the month: - 12.0 lbs

Struggles or successes of your week:

Successes: I finally started incorporating exercise into my routine and bought some dumbbells. I have also managed to stay under my calorie goals for the week.

Struggles: This week has been extremely difficult. On Thursday the island of Dominica where I was born was devastated by Tropical Storm Erika. I've been staying up late every night since then to follow the news on Facebook and the local radio stations. I'm also part of a nonprofit group that's started relief efforts from the US. So everyday since Friday has been devoted to getting the Donation campaign started. With everything that has been going on I haven't prepped my meals nor gone grocery shopping like I should. It's hard to focus on myself when so many families are in need and people have lost loved ones. I did a little stress eating this week and I know I don't want to lose all of the progress I've made this month. Hopefully next week I'll be able to strike a better balance.
