Yay Sherry! We missed you! So, with both kids in school, will that give you more free time? My middle kiddo is finally in school all day and my youngest qualified for free preschool. So 4 days a week I have no kids in the morning and then only 1 kid during the afternoons and on Friday. It's making getting stuff done a lot easier! Can't wait to hear all about how you're doing!

Marla - Well, he's been working this shift for about 7 years so who knows how long. The problem is the department has been on a hiring freeze for so long that he never gained seniority in all the years he's worked for the department. Makes getting the day shifts very difficult. They finally just started hiring again so hopefully this will give him a chance to move to a better squad. Well, hoping your rash continues to heal and that the smoke goes down!

Did my Pilates class yesterday. Also got all the church stuff finished...easily. My kids folded their laundry nicely for the first time in weeks and weeks. I made a new chicken recipe with plenty of veggies and my kids actually ate it! We went to the library as their fun time and got scores of new books. All in all, it was a great day yesterday! I do not feel rested this morning, but I'll have time this afternoon to take a nap. I think I'll seize that to get some more rest. Our church has a big potluck after church. Hoping my kids are old enough now where they'll be able to entertain themselves a bit while I get food for them and such (hubby might be able to stay briefly before heading off to work).

I'm off for my endurance bike ride. Not feeling it, but spotted this thread starter I used and thought it would be a good motivator for me this morning! Happy Sunday everyone!

Well I had a wonderful day yesterday! Wow, when is the last time I said that!!

Rash is finally going away, about half gone but still itches like crazy.

We set out for Medford yesterday and got new cell phones at Costco, had to switch to Verizon, not my favorite company but Sprint doesn't come in at all in new area.

After that we decided to go to Ashland, because of rain earlier a whole day of fresh air, only 80 degrees out so perfect. Lots of musicians playing in streets and parks. Sidewalk sales and fun dinner. Lots of walking.

Sounds like your having a good month Sherry! Welcome back, see you next week. :)

I read yesterday's thread yesterday but it doesn't look like I posted. Sherry nice to hear from you!

Friday my niece's husband Kenny replaced an exterior door for me, then yesterday he & his friend Chris were here nearly 8 hours scraping and painting my trim and eaves. They were back for a few hours this morning to put on a second coat and clean up. Feels so good to have that done and it looks so much better.

I intended to run yesterday but Kenny had a few questions (my house is so old they also made a few repairs for me along the way), they found wasps living inside my eaves so I ran to the store for wasp spray, my niece (Kenny's wife) and their daughter stopped in so we went down to a nearby park with playground equipment, etc. I decided to mow my lawn after they left last night then run this morning. Run was good. I did go out while they were here today since they were just putting on a second coat.

Val glad you got your tech issues figured out! Hope the potluck goes smoothly.

Marla so happy to hear the rash is clearing. Glad the new cream is helping. Hopefully the itch goes away soon too.
