Hi, I reached my goal weight about 3 weeks ago and it lasted about 3 days. It is only 2.5 pounds away....again! My ultimate goal weight is 4.5 pounds away. I have been lucky in that I lost 20 pounds about 3 years ago (never reaching my goal) and managed to keep it off. Still, I notice a lot of body fat. Even though I try to do cardio and weight training every day the fat just sticks around. I tell myself that being 68 has something to do with that.

Your body weight will naturally fluctuate each day, so don't let that part get to you!
As far as the body fat, are you doing a strength program? I'm going to post some links that might be helpful in getting you to where you want to be. The last one is the link to the women's Stronglifts group. It's a pretty good program if you aren't already following one. I would also recommend reading New Rules of Lifting for Women. I wasn't a big fan of the lifting program included, but the book has a lot of great information about nutrition and fitness.

I work out on my bowflex and with free weights. I used to go to a gym and did a lot of lifting, that was before a lower back fusion and a hip replacement. I look forward to checking out these links to see what I can do. Thanks for the info.0
