this last week was a bad one for me. instead of losing I gained weight. Boo But unfortunately not a huge surprise. I have this cough that is making exercise difficult and my eating was not he best either i had some high sodium/calorie meals that did not help at all. I did a two mile run and swam 25 laps. that was my extent of exercise. I only hit my step goal once last week.I am determined to do better this week.
So this week
1) make better food choices( more fruits and veggies and so many sweets)
2) stay in calories
3) hit my steps everyday starting on the 22
4) get 56 more laps in the pool
5) at least 8 miles walk/run
6) get some biking miles in
7) start a strength training program

Well it's taken 2 weeks but my cough is almost gone! LOL I still have the dark circles under my eyes and it feels like my one eye has a twitch but I'm almost back to normal. ;)
    So this week's goals:
    1. continue to do aerobics a couple times a week.
    2. sign up to walk the school hallways come winter. You need a pass LOL
    3. Continue with eating the vegetables.
    4. Rest when my body says rest.
    5. I would still love to find that extra walking buddy but at this point everyone I ask says they walk slower than I do or they're just not interested maybe I'll find someone at the school.

In the last 7 days (part last week part this week) I have not worked out at all. I had three 'off' plan meals last week and of course gained. Sunday I hurt my foot by not stretching and starting a new fitness program. Yesterday I began implementing the stretches that I was shown and today got back on the elliptical, walked on my breaks at work and did an upper body workout. Afterwards I feel great! First time I've ever been able to say that while I'm tired I have ENERGY after working out! =) My plan for the rest of the week is to keep going!

Thanks Cumberland granny.....after seeing pictures of me in my tri suit, I am extra motivated To lose this weight! I have met my physical activity goals and my metabolic market goals so time to seriously lose weight. Soon I am a much healthier overweight person...time to correct those bad habits and choose life! I am so blessed and grateful that I can participate in all these activities and have a great job schedule that allows training time. So no excuses...Onward!
