need some low carb friends to keep me motivated

Hi, I've been around for a while and tried many different diets but keep coming back to low carb as it seems to suit me best. I am trying to keep my carbs under 30gm per day (is this too low?) and I have lost quite a bit so far (over a period of a few years) but I'm currently about 20lbs higher than I was this time last year.
I have been back on track for 10 days and have lost 10lbs so far but this is where my danger zone is. I need some ideas for meals and snacks that will stop me getting bored and would love to add some friends that can help me reach my goal of 180lbs loss.

Hi! I'm a less than twenty gal too. Most days are considered to be zero carb. So, no, you can't go too low. I have been at this level since May. There are others here who have been ZC for much longer without any ill effects. Your body really prefers things this way. That's why we feel so much better when restricting them. Anyway, I'm up for friends. I sporadically log now, but did for many days in a row up until mid July. But am always up for more Pals!0

I decided when I started this that it wasn't a diet, it is a life change. I feel so much better. My macro for carbs is set at 15. Most days my total carbs are around 20 but that would mean that my net carbs are near where I need them to be. 30 is not too low if you feel well.

I do low carbs,at the moment I'm trying to keep net carbs under 30 but may start to up it to a maximum of 50. I think i am still struggling to find the right level that still lets me lose weight but doesn't bring the carb cravings back. I have an under active thyroid and am currently having blood tests evey 6 to 8 weeks to get the dosage right. It's hard sometimes i feel like am flogging a dead horse (pardon the expression ) i am determined this time to get to my goal0
