Intro to what the group is and why it was created

This group was designed for people where they can get a good footing into what ever they are looking to do. But mostly for people who want to give and receive support on what ever goals they are doing.
Losing weight is a slow and steady race you could say, and you need friends and support along the way. So why not tell people what you are aiming to do and see if we can all help you get there.
Want friends? well don't we all but why don't you share you exp with people and I'm sure they will do the same.
Want a challenge? why not challenge yourself with the highest amount of steps taken, or maybe the highest amount of fluids taken in (the good ones - or why not challenge your friends

I like the way you think! I am retired Air Force and rebelled against any type of control on me. Now I have gained 40 lbs and have more health issues. I went to see a nutritionist on base today to help me make the right food choices for my diabetes and walked out with a strict regimented lifestyle change reflecting an active duty airman! What just happened? He wanted me to go to the gym...I put my foot down on that one. I don't do gyms! Period! This sight was another of his recommen-demands that I believe will help, but I altered my goals a little to accommodate me. My body will tell me how much I can take thank you!! I worked in Physical Therapy and am used to motivating others. I thought this group had the right idea...individuality with back-up! My name is Char...and you two are...?0

Names Kieran it's good to hear different stories. Mine is I used to work in a team of about 100+ people and got well stressed with being in charge of so many of them. Then one day I weighed myself and saw... 18 stone on the scales, I was 6 stone over weight and obese... things had to change, so when I found my new job I decided that was the time... I lost over 5 stone, but then depression hit and I was back up to 17 stone and now I am working on my way back down to a healthly weight. I am currently weigh 15 stone and 8lbs... so I hope to keep moving forward, but if I don't see the scale move that's when it hits me... I just hope along my journey to help more people along the way if I can0
