Ok I'll start.
I'm on a 1200 cal diet. But for me to lose weight I have to have an extra 500 calories left over every day so I make sure I exercise so I have those calories.

Hey 2020 I have a question, is having those extra 500 cal left over just something that works for you psychologically or what's the reason behind that? Just curious that's all. Thank you for putting this post I'm going to put my answer in a separate reply. I really like this question because I think it's going to give ideas to others out there.

I find that I do so much better with a 1200 cal diet as well. The only way that I can stick to it though is if I log everything because if I stop logging I start slacking.

When I am at full training, I work on a TDEE plan, so my calorie goal already included my exercise and I aim for 1800 per day.

If I have an extra 500 calories every day I noticed I lose .5 lb a week. I had seen on the fitbit site that it had told me how many extra calories I needed per day to lose weight. It seems to be spot on. I log all my food but I am one of those people that can eat the same thing every day for a zillion days. I only drink water and now that it's getting cold maybe hot tea.

I follow basically a whole 30/paleo plan. I go for a 80% plan which means if I go off its okay due to holidays or special occasions or mini treat. I shoot for 1200-1400 cal. I eat no grains or dairy per my plan eating only clean foods.
I strive for 96 oz water day.
I exercise by walking using a fitbit tracker. I usually walk 5 miles day 3-4 times a week at a brisk pace.
This gives me more a less of a 2 lb loss week. I never eat my exercise calories so I have those leftoverand it works for me.
