I slept in lol. My week did not go well at all. Chinese food, pizza.. Oh my! It's been utter chaos around my house with everything but this is a new week!

Last week was 186. This week is 188. No good but it's not a complete failure for everything I've accomplished.

Back down from last week! Already went to the gym this morning so I'm feeling good. Struggled when I had to go out to eat for a celebratory dinner this week but I'm still doing well at home. Hope everyone else is enjoying their extra hour of sleep!

Traveled for half the week and had some issues with Trick or Treat candy but still managed to lose a little!

    Week 1: 204.9 (-1.1 lb)
    Week 2: 202.5 (-2.4 lb)
    Week 3: 200.1 (-2.4 lb)

    Total challenge loss: 5.9 lbs!

Super excited! The scale dipped below 200 this week (!!!!), but it evened out come Sunday. I'm still running 3 times a week (thank goodness that turned into a habit!) and only fell a bit behind because of Halloween... We have candy at work, and it's been really difficult - the trick for me of course is to log all the candies! High hopes for this week, though I'm trying to work through being ill with a viral infection... Can we say comfort food? Gonna try hard to stick with healthy soups!

Also, small success: I had to put something away at work, so I crouched down, figured out where it went, and shot back up to check on something else... Only realizing that I didn't laboriously grunt HNNGH when I stood up! Hahaha - my accidental Lord-have-mercy-I'm-out-of-shape noises are over!!

    HW 165
    SW 145 (for challenge)
    GW 130

    Today's weight 143

Due to getting sidetracked for 2 days my weight went back to up to 143. Had been down to 141.5. Hoping a little is water weight from the food and drink from Fri and Sat.
Positive note this week. I was stressed about Halloween and the candy. I tend to start and can't stop so my plan was to not start. Even with friends over I was able to not dig my hole deeper and didn't eat the candy even though I had blown it with nachos and pizza.
Onward and upward! ( well I guess downward is more appropriate- on the scale!)

@ChandalNicole I wanted to sleep in but had to get kitchen prepping done before heading out to the NFL game.

Thanks @istarith... I meal prep and fight hard to eat only what's logged on my MFP. It takes a lot of work but I am pushing through.

This week was hard- I was fighting a cold so not much exercise. Got back to it as soon as I felt better. Halloween was a mental struggle. Ended up at the movies to avoid the whole candy scene.
Today was hard as well- went to NFL game which took like lunch time and dinner time. What I learned- be prepared take snacks

@curves2j lol GOOD idea to bring snacks! I'm glad the movies worked, it sure wouldn't for me! Candy I can turn down if need be, but this lady loves her popcorn! (Besides: The one we frequent serves KETTLE CORN at no extra cost!!! I'd powerless to turn... it... down!!) Keep going, Madam Willpower!

Thank you all for the great support!! You're all rocking this out! Great job! Any holiday is somewhat of a struggle but it seems that everyone handled this one quite well. Candy is somewhat easy to turn away. It's Thanksgiving that gets me. We can make it though!

Maybe it's a good idea to eat a metric crapton of vegetables and such before attending any dinner? Show up not starving! Mercifully for me, I'm spending Thanksgiving with just my husband, so we'll make all of our own food. Which means I'm making the 110% healthy version of everything! Goddamn I'm gonna miss mashed potatoes, though...

I saw a post from Popsugar Fitness last night that was "how to diet for thanksgiving: don't!". I'm hosting it this year at my house. I'll be able to control the butter and salt contents but I plan to enjoy myself with my family. I won't be logging on that day at all. I don't want my obsession to control my day and not be able to relax. Best advice: portion control. Enjoy yourself but don't go crazy. Not only will it REALLY derail your day but you'll probably feel sick if you overindulge lol.

I've been thinking a lot about Thanksgiving and upcoming Christmas cookies! That's a great idea to just exercise portion control and still get a little bit of your fave food. My town also does a 3 or 5 mile Turkey Trot run/walk on Thanksgiving, so I'm planning on participating in that as well which should help!

Same here- planning on portion control and enjoying time with family! I'll likely avoid the room with all the snacks before dinner so I'm not tempted, and I'll be sure to take my time eating and pause to talk to people around me so I don't shovel my first plate in 30 seconds and immediately go back for more. I'm usually busy running around helping out with whatever needs to be done so I'm also hoping to be on my feet a lot, too.

istarith that's great that you get to do healthy version yourself- I want to stay in my bubble waaahhhaa :'(

ChandalNicole- that is the best advice-portion control- now I need to get there mentally- because portion control is a major issue for me....

thanks natyack for the mingling advice I will definitely use this one- will have plenty of family to do this with.

But I may just do what herreraek22 said and do a Turkey Run- ha this will help if I do go over to at least have burned and earned some calories

YES Absolutely Genius guys- Absolutely Genius!@!! :)

My Thanksgiving will be starting with a Turkey Trot 10K so I'll have about an extra 500 calories to enjoy and then a little 5k on Saturday. Compared to how much extra I will likely consume, it wouldn't be enough to still lose, but at this time of year I'm happy if I can just maintain rather than focusing on losing. This way I can enjoy pretty much all my favorite foods in moderation and bake dozens and dozens of Christmas treats!

My weigh in (a little late since I was heavier after my long race)

    SW: 150
    W1: 149
    W2: 148
    W3: 148
    NYE Goal: 140

I'm down a pound this week 177.6 . I'm back to running after being out of town for 4 days over the weekend so I am hoping the weight loss picks up a bit. I too have a turkey trot on Thanksgiving Day...a 5 mile race so hoping that will help with the extra food I will consume on that day!
