Hey guys,

So like yourselves I have massively cut carbs out my diet (My diet previously was mostly carbs!) My maximum allowance for the day is 150g of carbohydrates. I apreciate this isn't super low dieting, but I'm a police officer so I do need some sufficient energy levels!

I'm just curious how many carbs your all budget yourselves per day and how this has affected your weight loss?

Rob

My carbs run approx 120 my calories run 1100 the difference being I'm 48 and my exercise comes from literally my exercise. But I always make sure my protein is where it should be. I feel great now that I make sure I have enough protein in my diet. Though I really don't count as I'm old enough to be your mom and totally different lifestyles. :)

This is so annoying all I crave is carbs! :'(

Hopefully under 150 per day will work!

Ok you asked how it has affected my weight loss well I'm on a 1200 calorie diet I eat roughly 1100 ish I make sure with exercise I always have an extra 500 calories and I lose most weeks a 1/2 a lb. When I started I followed more the whole 30 diet. Here is the thing I am one of those people that can literally eat the same thing every day. It doesn't bother me I could care less. It drives my husband crazy but as long as he has variety he doesn't care. I opened my diary but it won't really help you as I literally eat the same things day in and day out. :)

Make sure when you eat your carbs you are combining them with a healthy protein. It really makes a difference. I also do whole30/Paleo. My carbs i keep between 100-125. I am probally older to you too but my job is a truama critical care nurse so always on my feet and busy. You are welcome to peak at my diary, just friend me. if you need some help nutritionally let me know.
