I would go with mostly fat or
fat with a little carbs, like nuts.
Or fat with a little protein like cheese or pepperoni. But cheese and I are currently not speaking...
But, why are you going over on calories? Because you're hungry or you have to eat with the meds? If not, just don't eat.

I err with more fats, but I agree it is best to stay near goal if possible

I just felt that that high cal mushroom I just ate wasn't going to keep me full! So I'm trying to be prepared. I don't allow myself to get hungry ever.... If I'm hungry I eat (usually don't get hungry till its time to eat so not really been a problem) but if I eat anything else I'm going to bust my calories today! Here's the macros on that damn mushroom lol it was soon good though!!!

On a good note I'm so full after eating I don't think I'll need anything else... But I still want to be prepared..... Maybe avocado.

51g fat should be able to hold you over for a while. Seems worth every calorie to me ;)

A few nuts like almonds but easy to binge so i seperate out 10 or 20 or some protein as you are just under there. Protein makes me feel fuller, but maybe I am odd. My doc gave me splits but also gave me explicit go over on protein or fat not carbs. Perhaps ask for future reference.

I consider fat the free food, but if you're starving pairing it with a bit of protein will help with satiety.

I don't have doctors orders, but this is generally my mantra. If you're going to go over on stuff, let it be protein and fat. Keep your carbs to a minimum and your carb "goal" as a limit.

Shirataki noodles, fry them in some butter with maybe a crunchy veg or two. Also, if you feel hungry, drink something first and see if it kills the hunger.

    Thank you!!!!Thankyou!!!!Thank you!!!!!

I'd been craving pad thai, and figuring that I wouldn't ever get more than a bite or two again - unless I decided I could tolerate a day of high blood glucose.

I adapted my favorite recipe tonight to trim the calories, and substitute shirataki noodles. MMmmmmm. This will become a staple! 230 calories for a serving, 9 net carbs, 9 protein, 19 fat. I will go to sleep happy.
