Then you'll need to unsync accounts if you don't want to use Fitbit as it was intended and still is for free.

Or pay for premium to do your own thing - including not adjusting.

Oh yeah - it's not Fitbit changing anything - it's MFP based on Fitbit's figures, trying to correct their own rough estimate with better figures.
