How Do I get Friends on MFP

I am a low carber since April and have lost 35lbs. and am looking to connect with other low carbers for encouragement and help. I just don't know how to meet people on here and do that. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!!

Click on their name under their profile picture and then click on Add as friend on their profile. They can then approve you and you now have a friend.
