Thank you Ruth for making the new weekly thread. I had a blonde moment last night and I forgot to do it. Sorry.

118.6 this morning. December is going very well.
Since I have a 12 day trip to Florida in January, it is helping me not binge eat on peppermint bark and other goodies.
I am going to wear a bathing suit on this 68 year old body. Don't care what anyone else thinks!!!!0 -

I can't weigh in right now, my scale broke yesterday, they are going to send a new one out after this one is picked up by ups. I hate not having a scale, they keep me on track, to a certain degree. I wish I hadn't thrown my old one out. Janice0

Thanks Evelyn. Weight is down but very saggy skin. Just the price we pay for getting older. Better than the alternative.0 -

Just stay focused and be really surprised when your new scale gets there.0 -

That's pretty good over the holidays!! Lol!
I haven't stepped on the scale since my accident. . . I'm a little afraid to.0 -
It turns out I didn't throw my old manual scale away, I found it in the vanity of my other bathroom. Anyway I had it set up 5 lbs , to match weight watchers scale, this was over 8 years ago since I used it. When I weighed it said about 5 to6 pounds more than normal, I set it back to 0, and it weighed like normal, it really bothered me to see the first number. I know I couldn't have gained that weight in a week. Especially since I have been counting calories and logging, but I felt bad setting it back to 0, because I thought keeping it set up the 5lbs was accurate, way back then. What do you think? Janice0

I decided to not let the different scale effect me, I feel the same as I have been, in fact a couple of days ago, I put a pair of pants up that were too big. I am not going to let this different scale rule my success.Janice0

Janice, I would not worry about the scale difference. Maybe just wait until you get your new one. You might be surprised in a good way once you step on it!

Have a great time on your trip Stephanie!! Mexico sounds like fun!
Janice, I'm with Ruthie. If you're new scale is on its way, I wouldn't stress!0 -
My scale arrived and it says I am up almost 3 pounds, so I will have to go with that, it'll be okay, maybe we all could use a reminder how easy it can come back on. Janice0

Janice, I'm sure it will come off easily if you are focused!! just a little bump in the road:)0
