Thank you Ruth for making the new weekly thread. I had a blonde moment last night and I forgot to do it. Sorry.

118.6 this morning. December is going very well.

Since I have a 12 day trip to Florida in January, it is helping me not binge eat on peppermint bark and other goodies.

I am going to wear a bathing suit on this 68 year old body. Don't care what anyone else thinks!!!!

I can't weigh in right now, my scale broke yesterday, they are going to send a new one out after this one is picked up by ups. I hate not having a scale, they keep me on track, to a certain degree. I wish I hadn't thrown my old one out. Janice

Thanks Evelyn. Weight is down but very saggy skin. Just the price we pay for getting older. Better than the alternative.

Just stay focused and be really surprised when your new scale gets there.

It turns out I didn't throw my old manual scale away, I found it in the vanity of my other bathroom. Anyway I had it set up 5 lbs , to match weight watchers scale, this was over 8 years ago since I used it. When I weighed it said about 5 to6 pounds more than normal, I set it back to 0, and it weighed like normal, it really bothered me to see the first number. I know I couldn't have gained that weight in a week. Especially since I have been counting calories and logging, but I felt bad setting it back to 0, because I thought keeping it set up the 5lbs was accurate, way back then. What do you think? Janice

I decided to not let the different scale effect me, I feel the same as I have been, in fact a couple of days ago, I put a pair of pants up that were too big. I am not going to let this different scale rule my success.Janice

Janice, I would not worry about the scale difference. Maybe just wait until you get your new one. You might be surprised in a good way once you step on it!

Have a great time on your trip Stephanie!! Mexico sounds like fun!

Janice, I'm with Ruthie. If you're new scale is on its way, I wouldn't stress!

My scale arrived and it says I am up almost 3 pounds, so I will have to go with that, it'll be okay, maybe we all could use a reminder how easy it can come back on. Janice
