I have wanted to get help for so long, but therapy is expensive so I tried to do it on my own, maybe just deny I needed help. It hasn't worked. Any tips how to find someone good yet affordable?

I found mine through Psychology Today. You can refine your search and find someone who accepts your insurance, their treatment options, what they specialize in, etc. Here's a link. I hope it helps

You can also call your insurance if you're insured and ask them to send you out a list of therapists that specialize in ED's.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I don't have insurance but I'll see what I can find.

The site also has a price option too where it sorts lowest cost to highest. I wish you the best of luck

I would check out your local social services office and see if you can get a referral for free or low cost therapy. The amount of services provide varies from city to city but generally, if you live in a big city or near by one, they will have more resources and services available.
