Does everyone still count their calories on keto or not?

I count my calories as well as carbs. It's probably not necessary but beside being compulsive I need all the help I can get. If you are looking for advice, I recommend that you pay attention to the calories cited when you do your macro calculation.

I count calories, too. I simply don't trust myself to eat until satisfied because I will overeat. I think counting and logging will have to be a permanent part of my lifestyle.

I count them mainly to see patterns and for the future me. I don't stress over it too much. carbs only are important to me. the rest is data.

I count my carbs, protein and fat. So I may as well count my calories too. I could easily gain weight if I didn't keep my calories in check, on low carb or any other way of eating.

I count both because I track carbs anyway so might as well track calories. And I can see myself getting out of control with calories because..."well, it's low carb so I can eat as much as I want..." I need the accountability.

My tracking is mostly by weighing myself each morning that gives me my total net results of my way of eating and moving. I do daily blow on my $15 meter to see if I am producing some acetone or not.

I am aware of what I eat and do count if something is going on that I did not expect weight wise.

I count both but I prioritize carbs. I don't stress if I have a higher calorie day. Honestly though the longer I've followed keto the lower my calories get. I'm just not as hungry.

I do, though once I've been at maintenance for a while I might experiment with not tracking and just following general guidelines to see how I do.

I tracked carbs, fat, and calories in the beginning. I haven't logged daily for a while now, and all is well for me. I will log a random day (I did today actually) to keep a check on myself though.

I count calories and carbs. It's the best way for me to learn what's enough and what's too much.

I keep a closer eye on carbs than calories. To be honest, I need to keep a closer eye on both if I want to keep losing. I don't log often enough.

Calories seem to rule all for me as far as losing weight goes. I'm within 10lbs of goal and am not very active at all, so I have to keep the calories down to keep moving toward reaching my goal weight.

I definitely count calories, it makes a big difference for me for weight loss and managing my blood sugar. My goal is to get off insulin as it makes weight loss really difficult. The first time I did keto, I was eating 1600 calories a day with my net carbs under 20 and I only had a 55% reduction in insulin usage, versus my normal carby diet, with minimal weight loss. However, this time around, I'm at 1275 calories a day with 30-35 net carbs and I've had an 83% reduction in insulin usage and have lost twice as much weight in the same time period.

    ^^This^^
I simply log the calories because I can't just quick add Carbs, protein and fat only. I do keep an eye on them just because they are there. But I don't panic if I am over because most days I am under because I no longer eat as much because I stay fuller longer and my hunger has decreased drastically.

Yep but if it is more than 3 ingredients, I just make it as a recipe and log it that way. Say if I do a steak fried in butter, I will log my steak by weight and then log 1 TBSP butter even though I may not be eating all the butter. My macros usually all line up and I am near +/- goal (I might be a little over or under) so I don't worry if I actually only consumed 1/2 TBSP butter and left the other half in the fry pan. I don't think it is going to make that much of difference to me. Now if it was several hundred calories or a major fat gm amount, I might take a different approach, but 50 Cals and 5 g of fat isn't gonna make me or break me for that one meal or even that one day. I might be wrong, but that is the way I do it. ;)

I count the fats I cook in when I log, or with my daily mental note of how much I know I can have, as it is most days now.

I did when I started, but I don't anymore. I typically eat the same things most every day, and I don't stress if I occasionally have a day that is different.
