It will be tea or decaf for me going forwards. Got to cut back on the caffeine going forwards. Grateful I don't have any serious health issues, just a couple annoying numbers that they tell me I should be able to get under control via my diet.

I am grateful that I spent all of last year putting so much medical stuff behind me (some by choice and others not so much!). When I look at where I was last year on this date I cannot believe how far I have come! I am grateful that I am facing the new year feeling positive and inspired and ready to go!!0

I'm happy that my family & friends are all doing well (knock on wood, of course) ..... that my boss was agreeable to me taking 6 weeks "vacation" this winter (not that he had much choice LOL) .... and that I'm once again eating smarter & moving a bit more each day.
Wishing everyone here a most fantastic 2016 !

I'm grateful that I made it through the holidays relatively unscathed. This time of year is particularly difficult for me. I really detest all the commercialism, excesses and disruption. I'm very much an introvert so all the parties and celebrations are very draining. I avoid it as much as possible but when I'm in those situations I tend to eat and drink too much. This year I had much more control and, even though I ate more than usual and imbibed in some alcohol, I managed not to gain weight! So now I'm on track again for another successful year! Whew!!0

I'm grateful that, as I start this full first week of the new year, I can already feel the pull back to health that restarting my journaling and exercise and participating in this group brings to me. I lit a candle this morning and pledged to live this day as a yogi and as an artist and plan to keep a daily candle going througout the year to remind me of those two pledges.0

I'm grateful I have the tools now to knock off the weight i put on eating out with family at restaurants with no fruit or veg options, and not exercising good portion control. And to brush aside all the comments that I've gotten too skinny. (I weigh 10 pounds more than when I was 30, and the doc then wanted me to take off 4 more!)0

Sharon congrats on your family members doing so much better!
Today I am grateful for all the amazing information that is at our fingertips via the internet. It amazes me how often I am at this computer looking something up. It's almost hard to remember how difficult research used to be not that long ago! And I should own stock in amazon! Gone are the days when we had to hunt through stores and make calls and look for catalogs to find odd things! Today I am waiting for my new printer, and it was wonderful to be able to read to many reviews (I truly do obsess over research before making purchases) and will hopefully have just what I need!0 -
I am grateful that football season is almost over, finally. I live in Broncos land, so it starts early and goes on forever. I just really get sick of it. Luckily my husband is a fair weather fan and only records the game for viewing later. He knows better than to try and talk sports to me.0

I went to my allergist a few days ago and she was looking through my chart, remarked that I had started seeing her a year ago on the 13th and how far I have come as far as improved health status since then! Nice to be reminded and hoping that this coming year will see yet another huge improvement! I plan to do my part!0
