Hey all, it's a beautiful Friday
Get that work out in and eat well. I'm on day four of 30 day shred and the soreness is finally starting to subside, yay! Hoping that means I can push myself harder. I always tell myself "This is only 30 minutes (or however long) of my day, I can do it and I can give it all I have" I won't regret working too hard but I might think I could have worked harder. What kind of dialogue do you use to motivate yourself?

Good morning Erin!
I did P90X3 'the challenge' this morning -- was great! I even managed to stick to my diet at poker last night :-)

Hey, that's awesome! I know how hard that can be. I went to a birthday party at the beginning of this journey and I knew they were going to have unhealthy foods served, so I ate right before I went and brought a couple light snacks. It didn't help stop me from wanting to grab a piece of cake but I managed not to. Anyways, I did my shred and with only one set of modified moves! Pretty proud of that.SKalltheway wrote: »Good morning Erin!

Congratulations to you both. I have no idea what a "shred" is, but it sounds impressive, and painful. And sticking to the plan at poker is a huge accomplishment!
I'm really using this group for accountability. Last night I needed 3,000 more steps to get my 17,000 in and I really didn't want to do them. But I thought, I told the group I'd do 17k today, so I have to do it. And I did.0 -

Hello folks. Today was a good day 16,000 steps on the Fitbit (helped due to the 20 mile round trip commute)...
I earned my dinner tonight!
Great that everyone here is really motivated!0
