Getting back to normal after Christmas

Hiya, I'm 21 weeks pregnant and want to start making sure I'm putting more vitamins and nutrients into my body as I've got used to eating far too much sweet stuff over Christmas! I just want to feel like I've got more energy and that I'm giving more thought to what I'm eating. Any motivational friends would help! X

I love sweets and wished that I did not. I have attached a link here for further info. http://www.babycenter.com/0_six-healthy-fixes-for-pregnancy-junk-food-cravings_669.bc
However, I don't believe in denying yourself anything while pregnant or otherwise UNLESS it is going to diminish or jeopardize the health of you or your baby. Just remember a very, very important word: MODERATION.
This is my third child and I am now a ripe 47 years of age. I've had no problems, no health issues, and this pregnancy has been no different than ones I had decades ago. I wish you the utmost best in your pregnancy and congratulations. :)

I have a ton of candy left over from Christmas, and I make it a point to allow myself a piece or two each day. I do that in addition to my eight cups of water, daily green smoothie, lean meat, and 16 oz. of milk per day. I see no reason to deprive myself of my sweets, and I believe in balance and moderation. I also have a small cup of coffee each morning--complete with milk and sugar.

We got so much candy for Christmas in our stockings and after going crazy on it for a few days, I ended up just throwing out the rest. Couldn't have the temptation there!
