Surgery Secret...

Things they don't tell you before surgery: your boobs will deflate like a week old balloon! I am 28 and have been busty since high school. I had imagined that my boobs would decrease in size as I lost weight. I mean they are like 100% fat...of course some of that tissue would go away. I thought they would shrink UP...but no!!! They are a saggy hot mess!!! They are so DOWN that they are learning Spanish!
I was having a dress altered the other day. This dress has a low back and I am unable to wear a bra with it, so I requested that they have cups sewn in to the dress. It was one of the most hilarious situations of my life. They had to bring out another seamstress to "assist" in the process. What assistance did she provide? Oh you know, she just had to hold up my saggy breasts while the other lady pinned the dress into place! I am not sure who was more mortified: me or the lady holding my breasts at an acceptable level for five minutes.
But no matter how embarrassing, these saggy girls are mine and I love them and all of my other saggy and wobbly bits of skin that help to remind me of how far I have come.
But let's get real, if I win the Power Ball on Wednesday, I'm scheduling an appointment with a plastic surgeon first thing Thursday morning!

LOL - I was just joking (and laughing/crying at the same time) over my boobs. My hubby went to grab my waist and touched a boob instead. I said that one of my starting measurements should have been from my nipples to the floor! I haven't even had surgery yet - but 115 lbs gone and my girls not nearly as full as they once were.0

What a riot! Thank god for good bras0

Yeah, the skin issue is weird, for everyone. I've got the super-saggy moob-folds, which makes wearing some clothes not look great. Also, other gentleman items tend to hang a little lower as well. I've had to lower the water levels in my frequently-used toilets. On the bonus side, other items are now displayed at their full size, so I guess it's a trade-off.0

I lost 100 lbs, and now I'm breastfeeding for a second time! By time it's all said and done my girls are going to be so sad Will definitely be considering a lift in the future!0

OMG! Too funny! I am having the exact problem right now. I just bought a gorgeous dress for Mardi Gras and it's pretty low-backed. I have a strapless bra but it's too big, so now I have to go get a new one that hopefully will be hidden enough to hold up what's left of the girls to get through the evening. I'm down from a II cup to a C cup and it's not pretty lately.0

LOL! We gotta keep a sense of humor about it. I was prepared for the saggy skin but what bothers me the most is my turkey neck! I've thought about gathering skin on the back of my neck with duck tape. Wouldn't do it but the fact that I thought about it freaks me out a little. I guess we better worry when my husband can't find his tape. lol0

Ha! At least the guys can hide the neck with enough face fur.0

Cracking me up!
Five years ago, after losing 220 pounds, I had a tummy tuck and boob lift. It was like making car payments on an expensive car for 5 years. (Then I gained 60 and had a sleeve, and now have more skin than I should, but less than I did before. ....) The areas not tucked (neck, legs, back, ...) are a sad, saggy mess, but oh well. That being said - best money I ever spent! Since we all believe in better living through surgery, gotta say this is just an extension.0 -
Oh I'm having the deflation issue with how full my boobs seem to be but dang it if they're not any smaller after losing 140 freaking pounds already!! Actually, I think they're getting bigger! I'm getting smaller in my waist, etc and it makes my boobs seem wayyy bigger!! So yes I need a lift but I may need a reduction still after I lose this other 100 pounds. I thought they'd get smaller like everyone said but I got the short end of the stick :-/0
