I really enjoyed my running 2-3 years ago but changed jobs and haven't been taking time for myself. I am signing up for the Rock and Roll 1/2 Marathon next January in New Orleans! Excited and motivated!!! Going to have to start out slowly again and I am not a "fast" runner but I know I can do this!

I know you can do this too! The most important part is to give yourself time to train so you make it to the Start line uninjured...after that it's a matter of trusting your training and enjoying the ride.

I just turned 60 yesterday and finished my first ever marathon (Disney World) 2 weeks ago: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/boatsie77/view/zero-to-marathon-in-60-years-607925

You can do it. I ran mine in 2013 and am planning to run another one next April. You and I are in the same boat.

Similar boat here. I ran my first (and only so far) in May 2013 but didn't train very well for it. I've been telling myself I would like to do another....so I but the bullet and signed up to do one this coming May. I'm using the Nike Run+app and am currently doing a beginner 5K program to get myself back into running regularly. It ends mid-February. Then I will follow their beginner half marathon program which is 10 weeks long. So far, so good!

Doing the San Diego R&R for the 3rd time and that would be my 11th HM in the last 3 years since I started running these (mostly 10Ks before that, 1 marathon a long time. I've been running a long time and I like this distance but hope I can get faster... but not too upset if I don't. It's a fine line between training enough and overtraining and getting hurt. Wold be happy to have any runners add me as a friend.
