Hiya,

what do you think?
Blood test about a year ago: Thyroglobulin Antibodies (Anti-TG) was 320 (<60)
TSH btw 2.x and 5 for years
Blood result from last Friday: thyroid peroxidase Ab conc 177 U/ml (<9)
TSH: 8.9

Two somewhat positive tests on different antibodies almost a year apart. Couldn't get proper treatment first time. I was told it's subclinical hypotheodism. This time I will insist on further testing, but I already noticed my current GP has no idea about thyroid and interpreting blood results. Anyway, been put on Levothyroxine 25mcg and will have another test of standard thyroid values in 8 weeks.

Any special recommendation for the UK? I'm new in the UK.

How do you feel? I would be a zombie with such a high TSH value ( my endo likes to keep me < 1, it recently shot to 3.5 and I am really struggling, even after having my dosage increased almost two weeks ago ).
Could you ask for a referral to an endocrinologist? Your antibodies are elevated and your TSH is high, it looks like you could have Hashi's. Have you had your thyroid scanned?
