FINALLY!! Out of the 300's!! I'm hoping it's not just another water loss. That would just be devastating!! :-0 But I've been staying on track. Even last night's little churro pity party was within my calorie limit. Going to keep moving forward regardless!! Go for it guys!! :-D0 -

You know, I'm shocked I've been able to lose the weight. I wasn't confident that I could do it. Now that I'm getting close to 135, I'm thinking of changing my goal to 132 or 133. I still have a lot of chub. It's weird, but I thought I was a bigger person than I actually am. How about you? You are also so close to your goal. Do you think you'll change it, or go maintenance? 118-119 seems great to me :-))0 -

I am happy with my weight. I have pockets of fat around my middle but if I lose any more, my face will be so gaunt.
I am like you though, now I want to change my goal to 110 but should I at my age?
For now I am going to try to tone up my core area and just maintain. Trying to go to 110 may be unrealistic for me. I do love to eat and have a glass of wine with friends often!! So is it worth it to go lower?0 -

@BL_Courtney15 hope you get some answers about your reflux. I've had it since I was little. For me, it is all about the foods I eat and what I drink (my biggest triggers are nightshade family foods: potatoes, tomatoes, bell peppers; tea; soda; grapefruit; chocolate; and eating too large a portion ). Also not lying down a good hour or more after eating is necessary. I prefer not to take medication for it, but I did try digestive enzymes when it was at its worst, and they helped a little. @RunRachelleRun it's actually pretty bad right now where I feel a constant lump in my throat and when I lay down at night to sleep, after my last meal being 4 hrs before, I feel like my throat is closed! I do not take any meds for anything. I want to make sure it's not something bad because I'm getting ear infections now for no reason. Might be "Silent Relfux".0

The scale is not moving much but the inches are coming off. My clothes are much looser, and I can see that I have lost weight in the mirror. Also, I had Chinese yesterday so I may have water weight this morning. I weighed 143.6 on Thursday.

vicky, you are correct; a lb a week is great. I have mfp set at .5 lb/week, which is working great since I am not really hungry and still lifting as heavy as I can.0

I went up 0.2 lbs this week. I'm guessing it's water. I did have big piece of carrot cake this week & the slice of pumpkin roll at the Super Bowl party. It's not a big gain & I'm still under 300!! Going to keep going down!! :-)0 -
@delgph have you tried lowering your starchy carbs? It worked for me- fewer sweet potatoes & more broccoli!! I think you guys are right: there's about 10 of us still here. I know I'm planning on finishing. I might have to switch my weigh in day to Saturday. I may have to start working on Fridays. Court, have you seen an ENT doctor about the lump in your throat & ear infections? I know about not wanting to take more meds but you want to make sure there's not something else going on in there!!0
