What are you training for?

I just signed-up for my first half in 2 years (4th overall.) It's a small one in the town I live in, Papillion, NE. Incidentally, my last was the same venue. It's a tough course and it kicked my butt the last time. Training in Nebraska in the Winter isn't always so easy. Turns out, I wasn't trained up enough to meet my goal.

I am doing a 10K in April, a half in June and a 10K and a full in September. I did another half two weeks ago. Good luck with your race! When is it?

Thanks! The race is May 17th. I've been training for 7 weeks. I just finally got around to signing up.
Wow. You have a busy race schedule. That's awesome.0 -
I have a trail 6k coming up, then I think i'll sign up for a 10k and then ultimately I have a half in June. But i'll throw whatever else comes my way in there.0

I'm also set up for 1-2 half marathons a month. I did 13? In 11 different states back around 2005-07. I'm excited to get back into it. I'm totally a walker. But I enjoy it. My first is april 11. Most are in Iowa this year. Several for the Ronald house; one at night in Springfield, il cemetary in May.0

I am signed up for a half in November. Miles away but I haven't been running since my treatment for cancer over the last 2 years. This will be a major milestone for me in my recovery.0

Humber Bridge Half Marathon at the end of June, will use the Eyam half marathon in mid May as a hilly test run. These will be my 2nd and 3rd HMs. The big test for me is a full at the end of September but that's a different forum. Currently using Fitzgeralds 80/20 plan, with a baseline of a 2hr HM, 2hr 6m on a flat course for my first.0

I am training for the Niagara Women's Half in June. I did it last year, but have had issues with my cuboid so it's like starting all over again0

I'm still trying to pick my next half marathon, I just did my first long-ish run today since the L.A. Marathon last month. My goal is to get my weekend long runs back up to 12 miles so I'll be ready for whatever half I might decide upon.0

Some nice sounding races there people. I love the half, it's a great distance but reading this I realised I'm not signed up for any - I'd better get busy! Leicester marathon in October for me, 2nd time out and I want to improve on last year so a couple of half's in the run up will be good. I fancy a trail half next I reckon. Any recommendations (UK)?0

Training for Myrtle Beach Mini Marathon in October - just finished the Diva HM in April..0

The Jingle Bell Half Marathon in Atkinson NH on Dec 12. I did two 5k's this month and on a whim I figured why not another half as I had nothing else planned in Dec. Did the Wallis Sands half in Rye NH in May of this year and a 10k in Aug. Loved both as I am getting bored with 5K's (do at least one per month).0

completed the half in 2 hours 5 minutes. new PR for me.

Nice. The Chilly Willy is definitely aptly named. Good luck and stay healthy for your next race!

I have a half mary in June and then my very first marathon in October. There will likely be a sprinkling of one mile, 5K and 10k races too.0

Signed up for a 5 mile in July, and Seriously considering signing up for a half marathon in August. About a month between the 2. Current long run is 6 miles, so the 5 mile will be no problem, just have to keep stretching it for the half.0

Registered for the Jasper Canadian Rockies Half Marathon April 16, 2016
6km shorty today and felt pretty good considering yesterdays 20 km Hills Run.
Picture of Yesterdays Group at the End of the run.

Made it official, signed up for a September half marathon, and have the 5 mile race in July. With 6 months to train, I'm aiming to do better than "just finish" the half marathon0
