Poppers in a Pan

Again, not truly a recipe, but I love this.

1 pound of ground beef, browned..... but fat drained because to me that is just nasty.

5 or 6 chopped jalapenos with SOME seeds..... sauteed

Bacon.... 1 piece for every pepper..... fried nice and crispy, and sliced in bits.... use the bacon grease when it all gets combined.

Cream cheese, about 4 ounces

Basically I cook everything but the cream cheese. Stir it up in a big pan, and serve with dollops of cream cheese on top. I like my cream cheese to be cold, and not all melted in.

This is 2 portions for me.

I've got a bunch of poblano peppers that I need to use up. I bet they would be great stuffed with this. Thanks!

Yep, I do it all the time, but sometimes I use sour cream in the poblanos.

I do a beef dish similar to this and make a sauce with the cream cheese. I blend the cheese in a separate pan with some butter and cream and pour it over the beef mixture.
