Hey everyone! Sorry I've been MIA for a few days. Last week pretty much sucked. Mainly it seemed that every piece of technology was conspiring to get me as every step I had to take to prep something for church yesterday was plagued with various mysterious issues. Some I figured out so that hopefully next time I can avoid them...some I didn't. I could rant for pages about it, but just want to move on now. I didn't actually break down until Friday after going through these issues for literally days...so I'll count that a win.
In more positive news, hubby actually took yesterday off and even cooked me dinner! So my day and week ended very stress free! Unfortunately, youngest came down with a fever by the end of the day. Gave him som ibuprofen and put him to bed. No school today, so hopefully he can rest up and recover by the time school starts back up tomorrow.
I also got my first week of training ahead of me! I'm also taking sailing lessons with hubby, so it's going to be busy! But I've mapped out what I want to do this week, including a road test in each area that I repeat every fourth week to see my progress.
Off for a run this morning, and then staff meeting. After that I don't have much planned. Just putzing around the house getting some laundry done and some paperwork done for our taxes.
Sherry - I love your idea of planning out workouts with your kids! My oldest wants to start running with me so she can do a real race! I'm still figuring out the best time for us to do that together.0 -
