Hi! I'm Tina and I'm 59 years old. I have been on MFP for years. I lose weight and then I gain it back. I really want to lose it for good this year. I have been logging in every day and walking 5 miles a day. This challenge will be fun. Thanks Sean and Lisa for setting this up.

My name is Amy and I am 29. I have 2 kids, a 3 year old daughter and a 1 year old son. It seems my problem isn't gaining weight during the pregnancy (it came off like water weight when my kids were born), but for both kids I gradually gained 20-30 pounds within the first year after each of them were born! I lost the weight successfully after my daughter. Went from 210 to 155, which was lower than my starting weight of around 180 before she was born. After my son was born I was around 165, and a year later I am at 190. Hoping to get back to a healthy LIFELONG lifestyle this time (unless we decide to have another kid and mix things up again haha).

Hi everyone, I'm Terri. I had lost a total of 130 lbs then had some health issues so I gained some back. I'm at 97 lbs lost now & trying to get to my goal weight of 160 lbs. I'm limited as far as exercise goes because of a recent knee replacement, but I'm willing to give you everything I've got!

Hi everyone! My name is Lynn. I will be turning 50 in July. I have been on this site for a few years and have known Sean and Lisa for a while. This challenge sounds like exactly what I need. I had lost about 30 pounds a few years ago and stalled. I haven't been trying as hard as I need to. I want to lose at least 20 more pounds. I lost the weight when I was logging daily. That is what I need to start doing and eating healthier. I am good at exercise. I walk 6 miles per day almost every day. I had a health scare back in November. For the most part everything turned out alright. But, when I was in the hospital they checked a lot of things. My heart is good and so is my kidneys and liver. I need to lower my blood pressure a little bit. It isn't super high, but needs to be lower about 10-20 points. If I lose the weight and get in better shape I know that will happen.
I want to be in great shape when I hit the big 50!!!! I already have the day before and the day of my birthday planned by going to 2 concerts. I will need lots of energy. Then the next day is my best friend's son's birthday. We always celebrate our birthdays (and her daughter's is the day before mine).

Hi Everyone, I’m Tamika. I’m 38. I have been with MFP for a couple of years and have lost a great deal of weight but I have gained some of the weight back by falling back into a few bad habits. But I am determined to get back on track and stay on my path to a better healthier ME.

Hello! I'm Jessica! I'm 25, my CW is 252 and my final goal weight is 165. I am hoping to keep up motivation with joining this challenge. I usually do great early in the day but afternoon kicks my butt.

Hi everyone, I am Karen and just turned 50 before Christmas. I have been a yoyo dieter most of my life. My weight now is 237 but I am sure once this challenge starts it will be higher as next week we are doing a family trip to Disneyland and area. I have 2 children, daughter 15 and son 13 and I would like to be around for grandchildren. I have high blood pressure that I take 3 pills for and 2 pills for depression I would like to be off all meds. I have a home daycare so by the time I get a few mins. to myself I am exhausted so I need to figure out how to take care of myself so I can be here for my family

Hello everyone!! I'm Heather and I am 28..will be 29 in March...I live in Louisiana. I am engaged with a wedding coming up in 2017.. I did the Soprano challenge back in 2013 and LOVED it so I was super excited to hear about the new challenge. I have been slacking for a while and have put on some weight, but I am finally getting back on track having lost 12 pounds so far. I like lifting weights and hopefully will be starting a new program at my fiance's gym. I have set a goal to lose 30 pounds by June 21st as well as run at least one 5k race in 40 min or under. Feel free to add me as a friend!!!

    Hi all,
I'm Sarah and I live in Gateshead in the UK. I'm 35 and married with 2 stepchildren.
I've been on MFP for 4 years, but only had success relatively recently with a personal trainer and a clean/paleo type diet. I'm now at the point of getting rid of the last 15lb (lost 30 so far), but I have been gaining and losing the same 5lb for over 6 months so I need to kick things up a gear!
Look forward to the challenge starting! :)

Hi, I'm a little late posting here, but want to say "Hi!" I'm Phyllis from Southern California, 66 years young. I retired about 8 months ago and am loving it! I have increased my activity level a little, from basically nothing to something, mostly Senior exercise classes, stationary bike and walking. I'd love to drop the 5-8 pounds I put on during the holidays. Willing to do my best on this challenge and hope the team leaders are gentle on us oldsters! Go team Amorosa!
