My mom told me about a product called carbquik. Has anyone tried it? Verdicts on making things like pancakes/waffles, brownies, cupcakes, biscuits etc? I heard it makes awful pizza crust :s but I like the fathead recipe for that anyway.

Thanks in advance!
And sorry if this has been discussed a million times before!

I have it. I've actually been meaning to ask if anyone else on here uses it; I don't remember seeing it mentioned in the time I've been on here.

I haven't ended up using it that much. If I were higher carb I might. I do count net carbs but still, total carbs are high even though net carbs are low. I've made a chocolate "mug cake" with it and pancakes (which were so-so; I like the cream cheese keto pancakes much better). I really haven't ended up doing (or feeling like I needed to do) much low-carb baking so I just haven't used it much. I did pin a ton of Carbquik recipes on Pinterest when I first got it though; there's a lot out there.

I found quite a few recipes. I'm just nervous maybe I'll just stick with almond meal and coconut flour

I have and use carbquick, but I tend only to use it to make pancakes. I've tried several different types of pancake recipes with different types of "flours" but I seem to like the pancakes with carbquick the best so far. I don't use it in any of my other baking or cooking efforts.

Well I might have to get a box and try it out for pancakes then!

I used it for breading some chicken strips and chicken nuggets, both tasted good (even my kids liked it), I found almond flour also works great. I have not had very good luck with it in the pancake department....not that the taste is bad, i never seem to get the right consistency.
