Just seeing what advice ppl can give me on this group to help overcome NES? Thinking of going to a dietician or for therapy, any suggestions who might be the best person to seek treatment from for NES? Thanks

I mentioned this in the other thread, "Intermittent fasting has helped me. I will send you some articles on it. Basically you have a feeding window and fast the rest of the day. My feeding window is between 12:30pm and 7:30pm. During this time I take in all my calories for the day. As long as you eat healthy and stay away from food items with simple carbs you have to stuff yourself to get in all the calories. When I wake up in the middle of the night I am still stuffed and in the morning I am fully awake and can keep myself from eating until noon."

I've tried to figure it out on my own and it just boggles the mind. It's like an entity takes over your body. I hope to gain more insight after reading the articles. Maybe this is just as simple as it has become a habit I can't break? That I've restricted for too long and my mind turns against me. I don't have a very healthy relationship with food which may be a contributing factor. I'm not even a foodie, I don't crave a certain food. I'd be perfectly happy eating chicken salad and peanut butter toast every single day, but when this takes over anything is up for grabs. I wish I had some suggestions for you!0
