Joined to take classes today. I'm feeling it a little in my legs from the demo. I can't get motivated to go to the gym so hope this helps. I broke a sweat and didn't realize it.

Good for you! I don't t think I'd go to a gym, either. You'll have to let us know how you like it.

My first class last week was fun even though it was a tough workout. I think I over did it a bit. Every muscle screamed for 2 days! But not all at the same time. Then we got 30" of snow and I haven't gotten back there yet. I think I will do a stretching class.

"not all at the same time" hahahaha. You went through the hard part (the first day) so maybe it'll be easier after that.

I'm into my 5th week of Pilates and it really does get easier and it's more enjoyable. You get stronger more slowly than another type of exercise, but I'm really enjoying it. Don't get discouraged, I think this is one of the better core strengthening exercises - and that's what we need most at our age!

I love Pilates! It can be really difficult, but changes you from the center, out. Great stuff!
