I saw my primary doc yesterday. I go to the seminar next Wednesday. I'm really nervous but excited too. Wish I didn't have to wait the six months. But that's not going to stop me!

    Good luck! I'm not familiar with Beaumont, but there are many threads of advice to people just starting the process in here. This is a great time for you to really work your pre-op diet, and start making the lifelong changes that need to be made. Read lots in here, past threads are an absolute goldmine of encouragement and advice, and ask any questions you may have. We've all been where you are at some point too. 6 months is pretty standard for most insurance companies, so there are many who have jumped through similar hoops you're going through.
