    Hey everyone!
Laura - I agree, we definitely need to get better! I'm glad you seem to be in the final stages of yours. Good luck with the snow...I saw my friends complaining about that. We're supposed to be sunny and the 80s this week so I'm not complaining!

    Of course...it didn't post anything.

Basically, I'm still running a low grade fever even though the strep is gone. Waiting to see if that goes away. Gt ting vision checked and new glasses today. Have bible study tonight where everyone comes over for dinner.

I had a smallish rant about how we no longer challenge students and instead try to cater only to those falling behind. Not to say we ignore them, but we can't have our sole focus be on one group of kids, Also that we need to cut the bureaucracy and just trust teachers to teach. That was about that.

    Have a great day everyone!

Been snowing all day. I'm tired & generally out of sorts. Skipped my ZMix class because of the weather - just wanted to get home. Doing some laundry & trying to get a few things done.

    Hope everyone is doing well.

Hi, got beautiful sunny day here and still hoping for health for all of my fitness friends!!

Started day with morning bookclub, felt weird to me as my old club was a womens social with snacks, dessert, or dinner and book. This was coffee, tea or water before you sit down and for two hours no getting up!

they are a big 15-20 women group. I was the youngest at 59 so all retired mostly university teachers, a few mid 60's but most in 70's. Considering that all were very educated, and very into the club. I liked how they talked about book, how they picked new books by discussing them.

I went to Eureka way up in hills by golf course nice area but found out a third of them are in my town and next two meetings around here. You will laugh but our next meeting is on 4/20 and we are all bringing a poem to read for poetry month. This one older woman made a joke about a pot poem...only in Humboldt would a 75 yr old do that and looking at her you would never guess, all the women are pretty conservatively dressed.

My husband went to the zoo to volunteer, i almost fell over when he called to say that. He has said for ten years he would volunteer but only went out one day in our old town.

We went to Arcata forest again and did a good hike, lots of steep up so a good work out. I am starting to feel like i am getting in shape again. I want to fix my bike this week and get riding. Dont know if i told you but i had bikes on car during move and backed into my hubbies car forgetting..lscratched his car and messed up brakes on my bike. Smooth move!! Lol
