    Hi @Smntharose7

    Did you just start em2wl?

I'd recommend hitting those calorie goals first. Then getting enough protein or fiber. It's easier to make one change at a time and eventually you can get to the point where hitting calories and macros is almost second nature.

Thanks! I started iifym a couple months ago but my protein is at 175 grams a day and I find myself eating things I don't even like to hit the protein goal.

That's a massive protein goal, is that 30%?
    So goal about 2333?

And when at higher calories levels, that can be overkill for at least the wallet since not needed and not a benefit to weight loss by itself anymore. Usually don't need the satiety it brings when eating enough calories either.
Or as you found, unhealthy relationship with food again trying to hit difficult goals.

Consider 0.8 g per lb of bodyweight the beneficial upper limit - beyond is purely your own desire to go over.

Thank you.... I am about 208 so that would be 166 grams of protein if I calculated it right. I had someone else calculate my macros they have me at 2073 calories carbs 188 grams 36% protein 175 grams 34% and 69 grams fat 30%. I have a hard time hitting the protein. I think I will just stay in the calorie goal for now. Thanks so much for your input!

Well, 166 grams is mighty close, and ends up being 28.5% of 2333 eating goal, so still would have to round MFP up to 30%.

So indeed, you are there for now at right level.
