Quality of fiber in hummus

I was just wondering if the fiber quality of commercial hummus might be less than that of whole beans due the grinding.

Don't think so. The fiber is still there (unless there is some other process used commercially that removes fibre - wouldn't think so). Fiber particles are microscopic. Blending doesn't remove it.0

Hummus is high in calories. Here is an interesting article on hummus comparing commercial to homemade. It does cut the calories.

Home made will be fewer calories. Probably more fiber because it will be more actual hummus. mmmm, hummus.0

Hummus is a healthy fat- I have been avoiding it because I am avoiding legumes right now, but I have always found it to be a great addition to my diet.0
