    Lean meats and veggies, lots of them! throw in some sweet potatoes for good carbs and sweet fix :)

    Grill or bake your veggies for extra flavor! Just a little bit of olive oil (or coconut if you don't mind the taste), crush or mince some garlic in a bowl, throw some mushrooms, asparagus, zucchini, and broccoli in there and stir adding a little salt (hymilaya pink is my fav) and pepper, and fresh or dried herbs of you'D like.
    400° oven for 10 minutes, stir and 10 more minutes. Or grill!! Put them on a pan and/or put the bigger chunks straight on the grill. So good. I cut my zucchini and summer squash in long strips and put them straight on.

    I'll often put a protein like chicken or pork on one end of the pan and cook it along side. If you do this, add the veggies 20 minutes before your meat is done.

    I also make a big batch of brown rice and keep it in the fridge all week. My son has a gluten allergy so it's the best carb to keep on hand. Heat a little of it up on the stove with some chicken stock and herbs. Voila! Simple, easy meals all week.
