Yesterday I ended up skipping breakfast, had a good salad with turkey for lunch and then was starving come evening and no where near my calorie goal. I ended up binging on spaghetti and a bowl of cereal! UGHHHHHHHH I think my biggest mistake was skipping breakfast, when I eat regularly, I don't think about cheating at all. I am back at it today and I am going to push through, cause it's what I do.

Yeah. Don't let yourself get too hungry in the beginning. I'm able to IF now, but at first, it's a binge trigger for some people, like it was for me.

Sounds like you are right back on track. :+1:

It happens, don't worry about it. My advice (tho I haven't been doing this long) is to always keep a bag of snacks in your bag. I keep walnuts and bacon in a Baggie in my purse and whenever I'm STARVING when I come home I have beef/chicken broth with 1.5ish tbsp of butter in it.

I definitely recommend mea prepping one day and ensuring you have several prepared meals so you can have variety when you're hungry (right now I have chicken + alfredo sauce, keto meatloaf, Caprese salad, ribeye, and ham and Brie rolls in my fridge just in case I want diet variety)

    You got this!

A salad with turkey sounds pretty low fat. I suspect a higher fat lunch would also help

I agree with Sunny_Bunny_. What salad dressing did you use on your salad? I always have mine with either full fat Cesar or Blue Cheese dressing. If you are starving when you get home you might what to have certain snacks (appetizers) ready, cheese, salami, etcc... to hold you until you make the dinner you had planned.

That was my thought, too. Make sure you've got some cheddar cheese, avocado, and/or an oil or cream based dressing on that salad to give it more staying power. :)

Thanks guys. I usually use a balsamic dressing but a high fat cream dressing is good too
