Goals for April and May

Well, I'm starting this a little late to do goals for this week, although if someone wants to jump in with weekly or daily goals that would be great. Since today is the last day of March and the challenge goes to the end of May, I thought monthly goals might be fun, as well as overall challenge goals.

For me, I'm not sure why or that it will last, but I seem to have gotten my mojo back on Easter. Both eating within my calories (and logging!) and hitting my workouts consistently (even the swimming, which I'm starting to like again) are going well this week, and I'm not even tempted to snack (had a couple of mini chocolate eggs one co-worker had out, and lacked the "now I will eat all day long" response I was having the past few months, hmm). I can't say it's sleep, because although I've been trying (getting too bed too late, though), my sleep continues to be poor.
So goals: get back to my preliminary goal weight (125).
For April -- I have a half marathon on 4/23 -- set a PR.
Stick within my calories every week. Hit all my weekly training goals. Figure out what works for me to fuel training for recovery. Learn to sleep an adequate amount per night (key thing for recovery, I know).
For May -- complete a century ride.
My first scheduled tri (Toughman Wisconsin) is mid June, so I need to really focus on the training during these two months--motivation!0 -
@lemurcat12 well done on getting your mojo back.
My Memorial Challenge objectives are:
1) to drop another 10lbs in weight through healthy eating and exercise.
For me, healthy eating is cooking from scratch and restricting sugar, dairy products and gluten
2) to start running again by re-doing the C25K programme. I had to stop running because of a back
problem which seems to be resolved so I'm going to give it another go.
I'm keeping it simple and just focussing on these two things.
Good look everybody.

Thank you for this, I have been SO off track lately, but new month, and 5 weeks until my holiday, I've got no reason to not put my head down and have at it.
Monthly goals:
April - Lose 3kg, attend all TKD classes, get back into lunchtime walks, stop faffing about and go to the gym regularly.
May - Maintain while on holiday for 2 weeks (squee!).

My daughter is getting married in 41 days and a month after that I have my marathon. So my goals for the next couple of months will be
1) lose 10 pounds
2)run 3-4 times a week
3)stay in calories
4) stay hydrated
5) log daily goals and progress0 -
How exciting about the upcoming wedding, freyjac! What a special time in your family.
My goal is to lose four pounds in this challenge. I haven't lost weight in all too long, just slowly regaining some pounds since my initial loss through these challenges on MFP. Four pounds down would feel great. I'm working on it!0 -
Beautiful.
The spreadsheet should be active soon -- I thought I'd made it accessible on my google docs app, but apparently it did not work.0 -
These will be my goals for April-May:
1) Walk 30 minutes a day
2) Slowly cut down to drinking soda once a week.
3) Slowly decrease junk/sweets intake.
4) Become more active during the day by doing things around the house and cut down sedentary time.0 -
