Day 85: 4/4/16

Good morning!

I did pretty well over the weekend considering that I was moving. Went way over my steps on Saturday and I was down a few pounds this morning compared to Friday. We are officially in the house! Just need to clean up the apartment and hand in our keys on 4/11, so we have some time.

Through this whole process, my trendweight is up ~2lbs compared to my lowest trendweight. I'd stay that's not too shabby.

Now to get back to real life and tighten up my logging & exercising.

Goals for today:
1. stay within calories
2. 12k steps
3. TRX (strength)

    That's excellent SingRunTing.

    Had a super busy weekend, spent 7+ hours outside yesterday clearing and burning brush so very sore today. But its a good sore, got lots done..but lots more to do.

    Today's goals:
    strength training lower body - done
    water
    stay within calories

    My PT has me eating at maintenance for now to help me regain my strength from the iron deficiency. I am up 2 lbs from a month ago and restarting my training. So I have a month of lost time I need to catch up on before I start progressing and then cutting again. I will get there eventually, just another one of life's set backs. But those come and go, just have to do what needs to be done and move on.

    @SingRunTing congratulations on the move! Sounds like your plans are coming together on your health journey too! @kenda2427 very glad to hear your strength is coming back!

    Yesterday finish was not great but today is a new beginning.

    Today
    1.moved family hubby and 2 cats to temp digs. Under the bed is their refuge.
    2. Working out of hotel with free breakfast so I will have to be careful
    3.Water water water
    4. Walk 2 miles later
    5. Low carb

    Back to basics! Have a great week!

    Hope your kitties are doing ok. I have 2 cats as well, but they're pretty easy going. We moved them on Saturday and they already seem pretty comfortable with the house, just a little extra snuggly right now.

    @Frigs, hope this little "vacation" from home goes very well for you!!!
    Yesterday I had a very nice day. Hubby had a meeting and took our daughter along with him. She got busy painting pottery and was home alone relaxing with some yoga :)
    I tried to open a pickle jar.... And I almost couldn't. This was an eye opener for me. The one thing I was always proud of was my grip strength; I mean I can brake apples in half with my bare hands and I never need a juicer for my citrus. I know the first sign of overtraining is loss of grip strength. After 116 consecutive days of doing between 10-28 chin-ups a day, today I'm taking a break so I can let my hands recover.
    Today feels like a Sunday, so I will enjoy it just like that. My focus will be food intake and water. I'm curious to see how I will feel tomorrow :)

    All i can say is I made it through the day. LOL I'm going to bed so I too can hide under the covers like Frigs kitties. Til tomorrow my friends!!!
