Really vague question about IF

This might be impossible for anyone else to answer, but since the "search" function doesn't work on here, I figure I'll give it a shot and see if anyone knows what I'm talking about.
A few weeks ago (I think), someone posted a thread about IF that mentioned that either people with a certain condition shouldn't do it, or that it can have effects for a certain group of people that were not desirable. I remember posting or at least thinking, "Yikes, good to know, I shouldn't do it then!"
However, I cannot for the life of me remember what it was or which group it applied to (just that it did seem to apply to me). People with PCOS? With MS? Insulin resistance? Does anyone by any chance have any idea what I'm talking about? I'd like to research it a bit more.

I'm sick with the crud and my entire sinus cavity is about to explode so I'm sorry but I don't think I can manage an effective skim for you.0 -
Some women get bigger hormonal changes with IF, some don't. Some women do 14:10 for this reason. I'd say that's literally eating too much into the fasting window.
Fasting is not for everyone and it can take time to adjust to it, just like keto. Trial and error. I have very good results with lowcarb and IF. There's a great deal of overlap between keto and IF. They both induce ketone production etc.0 -
I think I read people with arrhythmia should not do IF, or should check with a cardiologist first. Remember thinking I should not recommend this to my mom because of that. But I have not researched it.0

Let me clarify the "Diabetic" portion. It should read:
"A diabetic taking blood glucose lowering drugs"
To do so could cause you to "go low" a potential life threatening problem. Especially if you're on insulin.
But if you don't take the meds, AND you want to fast, observe the following:- Check your blood sugar levels more often or if you feel weak, weird, dizzy, etc.
- If you are low, end the fast and eat carbs to restore normal BG levels.
I am diabetic and have done over 40-50+ fasts, 24 hr., 36 hrs, 48 hrs, 72 and a couple 4 day fasts (water only) and I only took Metformin during my fasts. I never did fast using my two types of insulin.
I blogged about my fasting experience:

I hope this helps,
