Adding 12 miles for 166 out of 150.
Adding 19 miles for 185 out of 250.
Adding another 8 miles for 193 out of 250.
Adding 14 miles for 207 out of 250.
Adding 56 miles for 263 out 250. I tried Jelly Belly sports beans today. Yummy!! And they work.
Adding 5 miles for 268 miles. I'm going to change my goal to 300. No more trail riding for the rest of the month. That was a beautiful trail but my elbow I banged up when I was hit by the car is really killing me. I was up several times last night. Back on the motrin. 800 mg three times a day keeps it at a dull pain. New MYAC rule. No getting hit by cars.0 -

You got it, Dean! And I agree with you on that as a general rule!

The last two weeks of tax season this year were exciting, exhausting, exhilarating, frantic, frustrating, challenging and yes, rewarding and fun at times. And I am very, very happy it is over. I adore my clients and I love my job, but I need to step back for a little while now and return to real life. I’ve spent the last two days in an Ohio state park staying away from other people and just trying to start recovering. Getting the chance to walk further than from my desk to the printer and back was a welcome change. I had a chance to take a couple of short hikes and I didn’t even mind getting caught in the rain about a 15 minute walk from the cabin. I haven’t melted yet.
I’m sorry I haven’t dropped in to update my miles, but there wasn’t too much to report anyway. And it looks impressive reporting it all at once, right? (Just don’t do the math; it isn’t nearly enough when you realize it is over 16 days) Now that I am not working multiple 10 hour days in a row, I think I will be able to pull off another stunning finish. And…..It’s nice enough in Ohio for me to get the bike out, so I can use that to help get to goal.
So, I have 35.5 more miles to add this month. That is a April total of 42.5 miles. Well….It is over half way there.

I also just spent the last hour catching up with all the good and bad stuff I missed. Wow, I really miss you all when I can't get in here. I know I've said that before, but I really do rely on this group to keep me going and to give me encouragement (even if you don't know you've done so). Thank you (Thank you, thank you thank you ....) to everyone that keeps us updated and the group going. And thank you to everyone who just keeps moving and coming here to update. You might not realize how much that means to me or anyone else, but knowing someone else just keeps on moving, even with your own challenges, reminds me I can do it too . Thank you.0

Thanks, Dean!
Walked W/DH and Bean this morning then hit the gym this evening w/DDD and our trainer for a killer workout. I think it's bedtime!
We had rain today in California and a bit of thunder! It was beautiful then it got really, really windy here! All kinds of stuff whirling through the air! Crazy!
4/22 - 6.78 miles
Hope everyone has a fine Saturday.

9 miles of walking and running. I ran a 4 mile race this morning - the university my hospital is on has a ten-miler each year, with a four mile option as well. There are close to 7000 runners, a big change for me with my usual 200-300 runners in local 5Ks. Also, I've never done 4 miles before either. Came in at 40:10, was hoping for under 40, but I'm happy with it, for some reason the first mile was the worst for me in terms of time. Got a cute medal, also the first race I've done that has the bling. Did my usual walk at home, I'm in the National Step Challenge this week and figured it would be a good day to hit 20K steps.

Congrats going out to k80flec, wanderan, grandmajackie and cpanus on making goal! And great picture k80!
And congrats to Kar328 (aka Kitten) on your race! That is a great time - probably translates to sub 30 on a 5k?
Great to have you back, taxmom. We miss you too when you're too busy to check in.
Sufferlandrian - yes, yes, yes -- new rule, no getting hit by cars. Feel better. Thank goodness for Motrin.
I went kayaking this morning, and since I wore my GPS I know I paddled 3.5 miles, so I'm counting it. That with various dog walking takes me to 94/75.0 -
Updating for Weds 5.46, Thurs 6.19 and Fri 4.72. That puts me at a even133 so far and getting closer to my goal!

We went to the city for Dr. appointments yesterday & got home this evening. I walked the dog at least 4 miles in the 2 days & rode the ex bike this evening for 28 making a total of 32. It's nice to go to the city for dr app's, eating & of course shopping but it's nice to go home to a less stressed living too.
