Well, middle kiddo got sick this weekend. Of course this always makes things more stressful. How to get things done, how to get errands and training done, etc with a sick kid in tow. Add to that the fact that we updated our internet..which requires a new modem to function..and they updated it before we got the new modem. So we had internet that we couldn't use for a couple of days which makes getting my stuff done at home impossible. So trying to duck off to church to use their internet...but having a sick kid at home at the same time. I finally had a minor break down last night because I felt so overwhelmed. Had a good cry and now feel much better.
As such, didn't get much done yesterday by way of training. I did do strength on Monday and a run where I did my time trial. Supposed to do it every four weeks or so. I'm doing my swim trial today to see if I've improved there. I did drop about a minute off my run so that was encouraging.
Last bible study tonight, and then we take the summer off, I taught my last missions class on Sunday and we're off for the summer. Things are slowly lessening. Of course, I have a teacher application banquet I planned for this Sunday, a race the next Sunday, VBS and Kids Camp to organize for the start of June, and two conferences as well. End of June though, I plan to do nothing but camp, train, and go sailing.
Have a happy hump day!0 -
I am learning last few weeks that sickness is a regular life killer! And loss of internet in this day and age is like losing a major appliance we all depend on it.
I cancelled going to college today, young kid in charge while Deb gone still going but she would cancel if here, its super windy, cold and pouring rain. I didn't think that would help me get over cough.
We have our first set of company coming tomorrow night for weekend step daughter and hubby. I just wish i was healthier to do more with them, we were set up for hiking.0 -
Valma, how funny, we both posted threadstarters today--one minute apart! Brilliant minds, etc.0

Tiring day in Athens, lots of walking, then dinner reservations beneath Acropolis. Unfortunarely eating was poor, plus wine. Very sleepy now. Will try better tomorrow.0
