I had RNY surgery in April of 2001. Are there any other long-term post surgery folks out there?

Wow - that's awesome! Have either of you had any long-term complications?

Nothing serious for me. If I don't take my iron regularly, I get anemic. Easy to fix. It was rough for the first couple of months, but after that, I've never had a regret.

12/13 a newbi compared to you. More information is needed for those past a year. I am having a hard time finding that type of information.

I've been very lucky to not have any complications. I am grateful every day for regaining my life. I still struggle with my weight but have never regained all of it. Right now I'm trying to lose 30 pounds and it is coming off faster than I expected.
