Shutdown, restart!

I need to restart my weight loss. Most of this year has been stop-start with some good losses followed immediately by falling far from the wagon and regaining everything I've lost. I'm far from being back to my start weight but my goal weight is also slipping away again. I need to make a conscious effort to start back in the right direction so I am treating today like Day One, even though I have been "low carb" for over a year.
Today I will weigh in, take 'before' pictures, and take my measurements. I never did this last year because I didn't think I could stick it out this long, now I regret not having any visible record of my progress.
I'm starting my reset with a fat fast of sorts, because I can see the bloat in my belly from all the bread I've eaten recently, and a fast is the quickest way I know to get back to ketosis. While I am fasting I will take the time to fill my fridge with good food and write a meal plan, because a big part of my problem is all the little shortcuts I take to make eating simpler when I don't have time to cook real food.

You can do this. Meal planning helps I think. I hate wasting food so it helps me stick to my goals. Keep us posted!0
